About ADIMSC:
Abu Dhabi International Marine Sports Club is a world-renowned venue for powerboat racing and the driving force behind the highly successful Team Abu Dhabi. It offers a superb course for spectacular marine sport action between its base on the Breakwater and the Corniche in the UAE capital.
Since 1993 the club has provided a strong organisational base for a wide range of marine sports events and activities which have added to Abu Dhabi’s status as a world-class sporting destination.
Its support for powerboat racing and jet ski events is reinforced by its position as a founding member of the UAE Marine Sports Federation and as the national authority representing the UIM, the international governing body of power boating. The club is one of the Middle East’s leading venues for marine sports events at local, national, regional and international level.
The 2019 – 2020 season is full of amazing events and sees the Club hosting rounds of the UIM F2 World Championship, the UIM MotoCup for JetSurf, IWWF World Wakeboard Championship as well as local rounds for the UAE Jet Ski Championship and Jet Ski Marathon, UAE Flyboard Championship, UAE Remote Control Boat Championship, UAE F4 and GT15 Powerboat races, Ladies and Gents Fishing Competitions, Swimming Competitions.
We are fully committed to the development of marine sports, the club supports new events by providing facilities and organisational expertise.
Across its full range of marine sports activities the club places a major emphasis on attracting and nurturing young local talent for the chance to compete on the international stage.
Club Facilities:
Abu Dhabi International Marine Sports Club prides itself on providing top class services and facilities to support the full range of marine requirements, from leisure boating to international sports events.
The clubhouse, prominently located on the Abu Dhabi breakwater, is a modern home for all marine motor sports.
Featuring a reception hall, briefing area, meeting rooms, staff and event offices, the clubhouse is equipped with all facilities required for the organising and hosting of local and international sport events.
The adjoining Havana Café offers a large outside terrace overlooking the marina, and there is convenient club car parking.
Within short walking distance is the Marina Mall, offering excellent dining and shopping amenities including the Carrefour Hypermarket. The mall is open 7 days a week and has its own taxi rank and bus station.

Team Abu Dhabi is already a well-recognized operation in the marine sports world, with some of the members being World Champions. I am confident the team’s performances will further strengthen the presence of the sport in the country.
Marine sport in the UAE has undergone radical changes and great progress has been made in both competition and administration. This has made it one of the leading countries in the sport worldwide.
The UAE boasts modern infrastructure, state-of-the-art facilities, the very latest technology and advanced plans and programmes that give it an edge over other countries to play host to such competitions and sporting events.
Abu Dhabi International Marine Sports Club plays an important role in preparing the country’s youth to face the challenges of continuing the development and progress that was founded by their ancestors.
The club has also helped in promoting the UAE by hosting and organising many local and international championships in the past 13 years, including the President’s Cup for Formula 2000 and rounds of the UIM Formula One World Championship, the UIM Class 1 World Powerboat Championship and the UIM XCAT World Series.
